Church abuse
This Project
The Church Abuse Project is a long-term research initiative dedicated to bringing greater awareness to the reality of abuse within Christian churches. The project will examine sexual, physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and institutional abuse, while exploring how these forms of abuse can affect individuals, families, and entire communities.

Through scholarly studies, peer-reviewed research, historical records, court documents, investigative reports, and other reputable sources, this project seeks to provide an accurate, evidence-based understanding of church abuse and the factors that can allow it to occur or remain hidden.
Ultimately, this project seeks to encourage wisdom, accountability, transparency, protection of the vulnerable, and healthy Christian leadership, while emphasizing that faith and trust should never require a person to ignore abuse or surrender their ability to ask questions and exercise discernment.
